A Junior Software Developer with an understanding of.Net / C# is needed to join this well established company engaged in the provision of bespoke Debt Management Software to assist in the enforcement of local authority rates, council tax and parking violations. Theyare currently working in partnership with a number of local government authorities within London and the South East.

They are looking for a junior / graduate software developer to join their established and motivated team. The role will involve both frontend and backend development.

**Duties and responsibilities include**:

- Analysing and documenting business requirements for software changes. This would involve liaising with clients, internal managers and technology partners.
- Working on the design of new software modules and enhancements.
- Coding and unit testing of new software modules and changes/fixes to existing ones.
- Testing the code of other members of the team.
- Writing SQL queries.
- Investigating and resolving problems raised with the software product that are raised by clients.
- Investigating new tools and technology that could be used by the company.
- Managing incidents in our bug tracking system.
- Liaising with the team on the product roadmap.

**Education**:
**Required experience**:

- No formal experience is required, but they would expect you to have around 6 months of coding experience, which could be in the form of coursework, home projects or work placements.

**Familiarity with the following is essential**:

- Microsoft Visual Studio
- .Net Framework
- C#
- JavaScript
- HTML, CSS
- SQL

**Knowledge of any of the following will be beneficial**:

- Typescript
- WCF
- JQuery
- Bootstrap
- Angular
- Ionic Framework

**Training**:
You will be working alongside an experienced software developer who will provide on-the-job training and mentoring in the technical skills needed for the job as well as the specific business software that you would be working on.

Opportunities to attend external training sessions/courses will be provided from time to time.
