Materials Recycling Co-ordinator

Here at the **Mick George Group, **we are hiring a **Material Recycling Co-ordinator**
**Details of work**
Place of Work: Head Office, Huntingdon
Hours of work: Monday - Friday 08:00-17:00
**About the role**:
As the Materials Recycling Co-ordinator you will be responsible for ensuring all external waste movements from Mick George Transfer Stations are booked on to our internal systems correctly and in a timely manner as well as inbound movements of commodities and third party tipping. This will involve working closely with Site Managers, Off Takers, Customers, Operations, Transport, Compliance and the Sales Team. Being able to prioritise orders, and being organised is a crucial part of this role, as well as sound communication skills.
**Responsibilities**:
Booking on the following waste types and developing relationships with the Off Takers as we get the correct levels of service:
- Baled RDF (Geminor)
- Shredded Wood
- Commodities
- Metal
- Third Party Tipping
- General Tasks
**Skills & Competencies Required**
- Good Communication Skills across all areas of the business and with Directors, Managers, Employees.
- Flexibility to get tasks completed as needed.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work under instruction whilst using own initiative where necessary
- Highly organised with a polite and confident telephone manner
- Highly organised with the ability to work in a pressurised environment
- The confidence and competence to deliver against targets and KPIs
- Effective communicator, influencer & relationship builder
- The written communication skills to produce succinct correspondence and reports
- Ability to identify own development needs
- Good communication skills
- Demonstrate best practice at all times
- Excellent MS Office skills
- Ability to be methodical and flexible in approach to tasks
- Committed to providing first rate service internally and externally
- Driven self-starter, comfortable with working alone and as a pro-active team member
- Ability to prioritise work and manage own diary - amidst challenging demands on time
- The role holder will be required to cover for work colleagues in times of absence
