Recycling and Sorting Operative Role

We are seeking a skilled Waste Management Specialist to join our team at Taskmaster Recruitment, based in Warboys, Huntingdon.

About the Job:

The successful candidate will be responsible for sorting household and commercial waste from a pick line into various materials, including plastic, wood, brick, and metals.

Key Duties:

  • Sorting waste into designated categories
  • Operating machinery to feed recycling waste for processing
  • Inspecting materials for any contaminants
  • Maintaining equipment and working areas to ensure efficiency and safety

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Previous experience in waste management or a related field
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control skills
  • Physical stamina to perform manual tasks

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this role is £23,000 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer a range of benefits, including access to training and development opportunities, paid annual leave, and a contributory pension scheme.
