The post holder will have responsibility for implementing and monitoring policies and activities in support of the School’s Strategic Framework in relation to Education and ERS, with particular emphasis on accreditation, and a wide range of quality assurancemechanisms required to maintain and enhance triple accredited status of the Business School. They will also be expected to make an active contribution to policy development in these areas, working alongside senior colleagues.

**Essential Criteria**
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to develop effective working relationships, both internally and externally.
- Relevant experience of quality assurance preferably within a higher education environment, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with experience of working to tight and often conflicting deadlines.
- Experience of providing advice and guidance to a range of customers and colleagues.
- Experienced service provider with knowledge and expertise used to contribute to the delivery and development of services, events and activities within the organisation.
- Experience of implementing policy and procedures and involvement with future changes for a service area.
- Experience of committee servicing.

**Service Delivery**:

- Reactive and proactive service provision with others to deliver an excellent stakeholder experience.
- Accountable for managing/maintaining financial and budget records.
- Involved in the purchase and return of goods and services.
- Ensure projects, activities, budgets and documents comply with internal University and external regulation, policy and procedures.
- Ensure accuracy by instituting recognised and routine checks, assessment criteria and techniques.
- Implement and monitor recognised procedures to ensure compliance and meet University values of inclusion, diversity and participation.
- Develop, implement and enforce recognised procedures to ensure compliance, co-ordinate effort and contribute to team goals.
- Record data and information accurately, provide reports and distribute information to key stakeholders in the process or service.
- Provide specialist Business School accreditations and quality assurance support with problem solving and query handling.
- Carry out more in-depth investigations, searches and research information and data to identify trends and patterns.
- Support the capture of business requirements from users in relation to accreditation and ERS activities and work with colleagues to translate these into recommendations for future service provision.
- Contribute to the review and development of policies and procedures in support of the School’s strategic objectives in Education and in ERS, with particular emphasis on quality assurance, quality enhancement, EDI and sustainability, especially in relationto accreditation requirements.
- Be responsible for drafting annual update reports to accrediting bodies as necessary, liaising with these bodies as required.
- Provide professional guidance and advice to staff in relation to the implementation of policies, processes, data and information recording.
- Provide a high level of administrative support for Committee and other meetings, including drafting and circulating agendas, documents and minutes, and initiating and monitoring follow-up action as appropriate.
- Provide support for School-wide initiatives and events in support of strategic objectives in Education and ERS, such as seminars, workshops, training events etc.
- Support other School-wide processes and initiatives designed to enhance the quality of education provision in liaison with departments and their education teams.
- Demonstrate commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion and the University’s values.

**Planning and Organising**
- Implement and monitor protocols, procedures, processes and regulations.
- Interpret, curate, design and present information and data.
- Manage and organise professional business and administrative service processes, activities, events, staff and/or resources to achieve defined targets and outcomes, including support with internal programme review and monitoring processes supporting qualityassurance and quality enhancement (including collaborative programmes).
- Develop, plan and deliver internal and external events and activities for stakeholders.

**Teamwork and Team Development**
- Supervisory responsibilities for services and people.
- Provide induction and ongoing development support and training to team members.
- Contribute to the ADR process, assisting with the identification of development needs where appropriate.?
- Plan and organise own workload, and allocate and monitor work activities for others.
- Supervise stakeholders undertaking accreditation activities and project work.
- Act as first point of contact for HR issues in connection with line management responsibility.
