The purpose of the Rights of Access Specialist is to provide reactive and proactive approach to wayleave support and guidance in line with business requirements, as well as playing a key supporting role to the growth of Virgin Media and our network. You will establish key contacts within the Communities, residents and with Local Authorities in line with the Fibre Up build programme to secure wayleaves. Working collaboratively with Regional Affairs, Build, Planning and Wayleave Teams to positively influence wayleave completions.

Key responsibilities & accountabilities
- Works within the regions to obtain network wayleave agreements to limit cost and liability to the business.
- Resolve any potential trespass issues to limit cost and liability to the company due to encroachment and payment for wayleave consent
- Act as a main point of contact for local authorities, housing associations, private landowners, and other key landowners, managing agents or freeholders to gain wayleave agreements and respond to queries
- Provide city specific information to aid in Fundamental Design completion
- Work to Project plan to resolve post build challenges
- Resolve any potential trespass issues by using Design decision tree

The must haves

In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;
- Extensive experience in supporting large scale telecom programme
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritise workload in line with department targets and growth programme.
- Astute relationship management.

We'd also love you to bring;
- Knowledge of SDU and MDU wayleaves advantageous
- Good, strong personality with the ability to adapt it at any given challenge.
- A good communicator with excellent written, presentation & verbal skills.
- Building effective and influential relationships.
