**Academy HR Officer**

**Grade: OAT Grade 6**

***Hours: 22.5 hours per week term time only**

**Work shift pattern: Monday to Wednesday 8:00am - 4.00pm**

Ormiston Meridian Academy is a thriving secondary academy in the south of the city, serving 11-16 year old students. Our ambition statement is ‘Shaping Lives, Building Ambition and Igniting Futures’ and every decision we make and action we take is to ensure our students excel as young adults. Alongside our lessons, we provide a rich and diverse co-curricular programme that develops character and inspires our students. We all work together to instil a strong sense of belonging for all, which enables students to succeed and become active members of the community as they move into adulthood.

Your skills and experience
- CIPD qualified or hold relevant experience in HR.
- Previous experience of providing HR support to managers and other stakeholders
- Knowledge and understanding of HR processes and procedures.
- Ability to analyse HR data to produce metrics and analytics.
- Previous experience of handling and advising on employee relations issues
- High level organisational skills, accurate attention to detail and ability to prioritise.
- Ability to build relationships with all staff at various levels within the organisation.
- Knowledge of Keeping Children Safe in Education.
