As a Nursing Associate you will be responsible for supporting and assessing the care needs of patients and develop a programme of care which is evaluated and amended, as appropriate, and deliver the high-quality care. As the Nursing Associate, you will also be required to undertake nursing procedures and techniques in accordance with agreed policies and guidelines that we hold. You will also ensure that the rights, dignity and confidentiality of the patient are protected at all times.

Must have full NMC registration, NO sponsorship available.

You should have excellent interpersonal & communication skills, a passion for the delivery of high quality, compassionate care, and be able to demonstrate the ability to help change and motivate others. You will have the responsibility of caring for group of patients with complex needs along side the registered nurse for support and advice.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

The overriding purpose is to support the provision of the highest quality patient/client care through personal actions and continuous improvement. The post holder will support the Registered Nurse in ensuring the delivery of high quality patient/client care upholding dignity, delivered with kindness and compassion. Provide and monitor the nursing care for a designated group of patients/clients during a care episode. Actively contribute to an effective learning environment and support others in their learning. The post holder will promote a team nursing philosophy of care.

Qualification

Essential criteria
- Pre-PIN Nursing Associate/Or has PIN
- Completion of Foundation Degree Nursing Associate

Desirable criteria
- Working towards completion of end point assesment

Experience

Essential criteria
- Currently working as TNA at NUH/ Passed TNA and already qualifed NA
- Completed expectations of the course to date

Desirable criteria
- Be able to demonstrate experience of working in different clinical environments
- Be able to demonstrate caring for own patient caseload

**Salary**: The quoted salary will be on a pro rata basis for part time workers.
