Our Planning teams deliver the products our customers want through a service they love. We’re transforming our Supply Chain processes to enable data-driven decision-making, and we need you to help drive tangible business outcomes

The role of a Forecaster is to maximise DWA and therefore sales, by creating accurate short term demand plans disaggregated into subsets of product groupings and department level. So that our forecasts are set in line with the trading strategy to place right stock in right location, so we can deliver our sales plan.

Please note this role is a 12-month Fixed Term opportunity.

**What you’ll do**

Your key accountabilities will include
- Improving forecast accuracy across subsets of product groupings and/or departments
- Delivering forecast accuracy Key Performance Indicators at minus week 1 and minus week 4 horizons at stroke and colour level
- Delivering forecast accuracy and bias improvements at product and size location-day level
- Amending changes to forecasts
- Ensuring forecasting accuracy/bias and alignment or variance to SSI/MP is visible to BU/departments

**Who you are**

Your skills and experience will include
- Experience of the different statistical forecasting techniques and tools
- A proven understanding of sales forecasting, supply chain processes and Inventory planning standard methodology
- Ability to perform detailed analysis in Microsoft Excel alongside the capability to use analytics tools, e.g. JDA, SQL, databases, Spotfire
- Ability to build strong cross functional relationships and challenge, influence and persuade others to move towards a common vision or goal
