Fabricator/welder

Responsibilities:
- Assemble and fabricate metal components based on specifications
- Perform welding tasks using various techniques such as stick welding
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and diagrams to determine work requirements
- Use hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and weld metal pieces
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
Qualifications:
- Proficient in welding techniques and processes
- Experience with sheet metal fabrication
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Mechanical knowledge to understand equipment and machinery
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
**Skills**:
- Welding: Proficient in various welding techniques such as stick welding
- Hand tools: Experience using hand tools for cutting, shaping, and assembling metal components
- Sheet metal: Knowledge of working with sheet metal materials
- Basic math: Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations for measurements and calculations
- Mechanical knowledge: Understanding of mechanical systems and equipment
- Fabrication: Experience in fabricating metal components based on specifications
- Power tools: Familiarity with power tools used in metal fabrication
**Salary**: £12.00-£15.00 per hour
