The Marine Management Organisation (MMO) is an executive non-departmental public body of the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs.

Job description

The purpose of this job is to help to develop and improve MMO services through effective service design, based on understanding both user needs and policy goals. This role will work as part of a core team of Service Designers / Business Analysts in the MMO’s Service Transformation Team (see below), providing key support for service improvement and transformation activities across the organisation, including leading on and the direct management of some of those activities. This will include identifying and supporting the implementation of both business and user-centred improvement across a range of operational functions, carrying out activities such as researching how services are used, designing processes, testing changes, and capturing insights and feedback.

The role would suit someone with a Service Design / BA / Improvement background, who is looking to further develop their skills and experience.
