A highly successful business services company is seeking an experienced and extremely knowledgeable Head of Reward, to join the HR function located in the Greater Southampton area. As a business that has seen sustainable growth within the last few decades due to a well-thought-out strategic approach to their services and excellent customer interaction, they are constantly looking for ways to improve their retention and attraction rates to ensure they can continue providing this service for years to come.

This role is crucial to this mission, requiring the position holder to take true ownership of the rewards strategy and a managerial perspective relating to the internal and external parties involved in the implementation of the strategy across the business. This will require a committed and strategic thinker with a commercial aptitude to collaborate closely with senior management to ensure that the rewards strategy is competitive, meets requirements and is improved on continuously to address not only ongoing changes within a dynamic market, but any issues that arise as a result.

**Your Role and Responsibilities**
- While in this position your duties may include but are not limited to:_
- Supporting the Head of HR to create and implement a reward strategy with the aim of retaining the best talent in the country, in line with the current HR strategy
- Working closely with the Remuneration Committee, organising and attending meetings, ensuring paperwork and agendas are completed on time and ensuring that the business is aligned
- Drafting the Directors report for remuneration to co-inside with the annual accounts and overseeing the benchmarking of executive pay, leading to the implementation of executive remuneration activities that meet policy requirements
- Working closely with internal and external parties, including 3rd party suppliers, the internal pension teams and other stakeholders to ensure the seamless delivery of the reward strategy
- Ensuring that continuous improvement relating to the rewards strategy is implemented and monitoring risks related to reward
- Managing the rewards team effectively, ensuring that the team is delivering against objectives and integrating well within the HR function
- Reviewing the benefits package, ensuring it meets budget requirements, is aligned with regulations and is competitive and provides the company a market edge
