Milk Education are currently partnering with a secondary school in the Birkenhead area to recruit for a passionate Music Teacher. The school caters for children aged 11-18. You must share the commitment with other teaching staff to provide the children andyoung people with enough support to help them achieve excellent academic (as well as personal) progress. The music teacher will also have a element of general cover as well, so for the first few weeks there would be more music lessons than general cover. Thislong term absence cover will last minimum for the Spring term and would be re-assessed by the school ongoing.

Teaching Musicto Key stages 3, 4 and 5.

Immediate start.

Salary depending on experience.

Roles and responsibilities:

- Being able to adapt and use initiative in potentially challenging scenarios
- Helping to create and maintain a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment where children and young people feel safe and valued
- Excellent knowledge of the current PE curriculum
- Specialist sport preferred but not essential
