Due to growth, we are recruiting for a Regulatory Officer with a chemical background to join a leading manufacturer of chemical agents based in Middlewich, supplying 50 countries globally.

This is a permanent role offering a salary of approx. £28,000 per annum working Monday to Thursday 7.45am-4.30pm and Fridays 7.45am-3.15pm

As Regulatory Officer you will be working as part of a small team to ensure compliance within HSE/ Health & Safety/ ISO Quality and REACH regulations. In detail your responsibilities will include:
Complete REACH registrations
Manage Poison Centre registration for the products
Review, update and manage all relevant regulatory documentation including MSDS, SOPs, controlled documents, and product data sheets
Manage and complete ISO internal and external audits
Review, update and manage health and safety documents including risk assessments for the business
Provide regulatory advice and support when needed for the business
Complete health and safety audits/ inspections and manage any actions to be taken
Manage all aspects of health and safety for the business
Create Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for the products
Research and check various sources for updated regulations, new consultative documents and other HSE and regulatory information relevant to the business and our products
We are really keen to hear from applicants with the following skills and experience:
Experience and understanding of regulatory affairs within the chemical industry.
Knowledge of UK and EU REACH Registrations.
Experience of managing Health and Safety documentation and systems.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent IT skills including MS Office
Commercial awareness and understanding of key business priorities.
