Transport Eligibility Assistant required to provide administrative support to the Transport team within Fair Access.

To be considered for this role, you should have strong knowledge of IT, excellent communication and listening skills, with a fluency in English and understand the importance of maintaining a high level of accuracy and confidentiality. You will need demonstrable technical skills and a proven record of supporting customers through complex processes.

You should also have a desire to provide excellent customer service, be self motivated, and able to demonstrate an ability to work under pressure, as consistently meeting deadlines is essential.

We are looking for a positive person, with a ‘can-do’ approach who can rise to the pressures within the Transport Eligibility team, providing a customer focused service, which exceeds their expectations.

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
