We are looking for a Senior Carer to join our excellent team of carers.

Kendal House is a lovely 21 bedroom independent care home in the centre of Whitley Bay with a brilliant local reputation for providing person centred care to adults over 65 including dementia care.

We are looking for an experienced dedicated senior carer to continue the provision of high standard care with an emphasis on our residents making their stay within the home the best it possibly can be.

The role is availble for 24 or 30 hours per week working alternate weekends between the hours of 8am and 8pm. There is the possibility of overtime if this would be of interest.

We would like to hire a senior carer with experience in care and a level 3 in Health and Social Care, or someone with a level 2 looking to progress in their career.

**Job responsibilities include**:

- Delivering a high standard of personal care
- Safe handling/Administration of Medication (experience preferred)
- Organise and supervise care staff
- Responsible for keeping accurate records using an electronic care system
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, health care professionals and family members
- Reviewing and updating care plans
- Promoting the home in a professional manner
