An exciting opportunity has arisen for Immunisation Assistants to join our Community and School Aged Immunisation Service at Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust.

This post would suit an extremely motivated individual with excellent communication skills that can provide Clinic/Admin support to the BCG service and to the wider Community and School Age Immunisation Team.

We are passionate about providing the highest level of care to the babies and families we support, and we're looking for an individual that shares our passion for vaccination and the protection of the babies and young people in our county

A full valid driving license and access to a car to use regularly for business purposes is essential (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010).

- Support the Specialist BCG practitioners in the clinic setting to ensure a high-quality delivery of service to the babies and families we see.
- Be able to utilise administrative skills and ensure work is prioritised effectively.
- Ensure that the confidentiality of service user information is always maintained in line with Trust policy.
- Liaise with external stakeholders, manage referrals, update patient records.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills within a variety of settings to a diverse demographic.
- Participate in the planning and scheduling of clinics, liaising with venues and managing stock levels.

Whilst it is not a legal requirement, Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust encourages and supports all staff to be vaccinated as this remains the best line of defence against COVID-19.
