We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated receptionist to work within our Minor Injuries Service.

This part-time position covers reception at all 3 of our sites in Doddington, Ely and Wisbech on a 4 week rolling rota which consists of the following shifts:

- Week 1 Wednesday at Wisbech, Friday and Saturday at Doddington.
- Week 2 Sunday at Doddington, Wednesday at Wisbech and Friday at Doddington
- Week 3 Wednesday at Wisbech and Friday at Doddington
- Week 4 Sunday at Doddington, Monday at Wisbech, Wednesday at Ely and Friday at Doddington

**Duties include**:

- The greeting and booking-in of patients on arrival at the unit
- Maintaining patient records using paper and IT-based filing systems
- Providing general administrative support to the team, answering the phone, taking and delivering messages appropriately and handling routine medical and non-medical information on request, within agreed boundaries.
- The post holder will ensure that all patients are greeted and dealt-with in a friendly, sympathetic and supportive manner.
- They will ensure that patient dignity and confidentiality are maintained during the course of all verbal, IT and written communications.
- Assist with collecting patient feedback as part of the Trust’s Patient Experience Strategy.

- Assist with collecting patient feedback as part of the Trust’s Patient Experience Strategy.
- Work with colleagues to develop service improvement plans.
- Orders stationery, maintains stock control.
- Maintaining own professional development and take part in the appraisal and KSF process
- To participate in regular supervision in accordance with good practice guidelines and Trust policy.
- To participate in the Trust’s annual Appraisal process.
- To attend all relevant mandatory training as and when required to do so.
