**Salary**:
£44.08 retainer payment per 12 hour shift.

£13.78 per hour on call out.

£10.91 hourly rate for supervision/ team meetings/ training/ awareness sessions.

**Bank hours**:Bank staff support available shifts as needed on any given day of the week. Each shift is 12 hours long and starts at 7am or 7pm or 7pm - 7am Monday to Sunday. We request that each bank staff member is able to support with a minimum of one shift per month.

**Base**:Crisis Workers will be home based. In the case where a client attends the Swindon and Wiltshire SARC during the shift, you must be available to attend the SARC at any point during an allocated shift, within a 1 hour time frame of the call.

**Contract**:Permanent zero hours contract

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Swindon and Wiltshire Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC) as a bank support Crisis Worker. Working as a member of a small, dedicated team, you will provide on call services to victims of rape and sexual assault.

As a Crisis Worker you will be providing specialist trauma support (training provided) and working within a forensically clean environment, supporting the victim, offering a forensic medical examination (carried out by a trained Sexual Offence Examiner) and providing the victim with information for onward support services. There is a requirement to adhere to the Sterility Policy whilst in the SARC and you will be required to provide a sample of your DNA for elimination purposes only. This sample will be stored confidentially by the police. You will be exposed to highly sensitive information and your engagement should be within the context of a non-judgemental, supportive and confidential service.
