Opportunity to join a global charity and support the HR function in relation to any and all payroll related matters for UK based employees as well as those overseas. Responsible for the end to end payroll process and provide smooth and accurate pay and rewardsprocesses for all staff.
- To be accountable and responsible for the processing of global monthly payroll and ensure all deadlines are met
- To ensure that the payroll process is water tight and robust and make suitable recommendations for improvement and efficiency.
- To partner with the Finance Director and team to answer all queries on payroll when monthly checks are carried out.
- To work effectively and efficiently with Professional Employer Organisations (PEOs) in order to ensure timely payment of invoices.
- To work closely with the HR team to ensure all new starter and leaver details are entered accurately and on time.
- To advice other members of the team on the payroll process and establish an easy to use process map.
- To respond to payroll queries from staff in a prompt and timely manner and overseeing the payroll inbox
- Perform control checks for auditors and be 'audit ready' and ensure continuous data cleansing

**Benefits & Pensions**
- To be responsible for the oversight of all current monetary benefits for staff - including pension / medical care / life assurance.
- To liaise with the UK pension broker as and when required and to administer any pension changes.
- To oversee the implementation of any new initiatives
- To carry out the annual global inflation review and make suitable recommendations
- To lead on salary benchmarking as when required and liaise and procure resources and suppliers of this information.
