This role responsibility is for a fully trained operator to operate packaging machines within a small team in the St Neots Plant
RESPONSIBILITIES To operate and run production lines and equipment to achieve agreed performance levels in terms of Quality, Rate and Yield, EH&S, Hygiene and House Keeping. Ensure communication and information flows are effective and timely Provide feedback to support maintenance/process-related decision making. Work with and support the shift team in the timely trouble-shooting of process problems Support the Team Perforamance Leader to ensure best practices including SOPs are understood and followed. Participate in the continuous performance improvement of the Barrier Extrusion operation to achieve Best-in-Class capability and beyond. Maintain a high level of understanding regarding new developments in products and processes Qualifications
Knowledge of operating machinery and working in a production environment
ability to understand standard operating procedures
Effective Communication skills.
