Our client require a senior fully qualified accountant to provide a professional accountancy service to fee paying clients. To support a director in the running of the office whilst managing & growing a portfolio of clients.

Along with other senior staff, support & manage junior staff in their day-to-day work.

You will be responsible for:

- Reporting directly to the Board Director assist in the management of the office by working with other senior staff on a day-to-day basis
- Manage a portfolio of clients.
- Develop strong relationships & identify opportunities to provide additional services where appropriate.
- Look to convert networking opportunities into new client business
- Planning workload for both self and others
- Review of financial statements and tax returns.
- Review work to identify relevant points to raise in client meetings.
- Responsible for billing, fee reviews and new client quotations.

Liaise with clients to assist with queries or request additional information for their accounts and returns ensuring accuracy and statutory deadlines are met at all times.

**About you.**
- Qualified ACCA / ACA or similar
- Demonstrated financial management experience and legislative compliance with the ability to interpret relevant legislation to clients
- Previous experience of working with clients in a busy accountancy practice with exposure to new business development
- Good knowledge of accounting systems e.g. Sage, QuickBooks, Xero.

Able to demonstrate the ability to manage a varied portfolio of owner managed businesses in respect of accountancy, taxation & business advice.
