**Main Purpose of the job**

To work part of a team in constructing outdoor playground facilities and maintenance work on existing playgrounds

**Main Tasks**
- To liaise and report to the installation Manager / Charge-hand
- To travel to UK sites - as per instructions provided by OLP
- To ensure installation standards and quality-control programmes are maintained
- To carry out all installations in line with company instructions and existing European standards
- Completion of Non-Conformance Reports as appropriate and in line with company processes
- To ensure the company's policies and goals are delivered at all times
- To ensure that health and safety guidelines are followed
- To ensure the installation process is carried out thoroughly including excavations where necessary
- Disassembly of existing equipment when appropriate
- Site / Ground preparation including manual digging of post holes
- Assembly of play equipment to manufacturer’s instructions
- Mixing cement and other materials to the correct consistency
- Laying and finishing of playground surfacing including resin-bound materials and carpet-based products.
- To carry out maintenance and repairs of play areas in line with current works orders
- To drive company vehicles as appropriate - in line with the driving handbook and Highway Code

**Working Hours (48 hours per week)**
- Monday to Thursday 6.00am to 4.00pm.
- Friday 6.00am to 2.00pm

**Working Conditions**
- Outdoor Site Based

**Manual Handling**
- There are lifting requirements within this role

**Health & Safety**
- To follow all the H&S guidelines and PPE as determined by the business

**Communication Skills**
- To be able to communicate well with all levels

**Work Experience**
- Experience working within a site based environment would be an advantage.

**PLEASE NOTE** - We are based in the village of Christchurch and you will require your own transport to commute to work.

**STARTING DATE** - January 2023

**Salary**: £26,000.00-£29,000.00 per year

Flexible Language Requirement:

- English not required

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Outdoor ground work: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- CSCS (required)

Work Location: In person
