**Full Time, Fixed Term - 12 months**

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Strengthening Families Team Supervisor within the Families in Focus Service in East/Central Bristol, on a 12 month fixed term basis covering the current postholders maternity leave.

The Strengthening Families Team works intensively with young people who are at risk of imminent family breakdown and or becoming involved in serious criminality.

The work is very challenging and equally rewarding. As their supervisor you will provide advice and guidance both in planned 1-2-1's and on a ad-hoc basis.

You will manage complex families, who are often in crisis. You will attend professionals meetings and will closely with our partnership agencies.

You will be very organised, energetic and prepared for no one day to be the same as another

You will have experience of managing complex situations and have the ability to remain calm in crisis situations.

You will receive regular supervision and there are opportunities for training and career development. If you have the above qualities we would very much like to hear from you.

**For employees who are currently on a fixed term contract with Bristol City Council, the secondment must not extend beyond the end of the fixed term period to ensure there is a substantive post to return to.**
