Due to this ever-expanding market, we have an exciting new position for HSE (Health, Safety and Environmental) Supervisor to join our team based in the UK on a permanent basis.

**Job Summary**

The HSE Supervisor will work with the Onshore and Offshore management teams in an advisory role to ensure that the company management system is fully understood, implemented and to ensure compliance with any internal / HSE legal requirements. The HSE Supervisor will take direction and instruction from the Head of QHSE.

The role primarily acts as a Supervisor to the Offshore HSE Representatives (for his / her assigned assets) from a functional level to ensure the HSE Representatives are carrying out the roles and responsibilities assigned to them in their day-to-day work, coaching / mentoring / supporting and ensuring sufficient support so that HSE Representatives maximise visibility (80%) at the worksites working with both supervision and workforce to improve cultures, behaviours, and work to HSE industry best practice.

The position is to be considered a senior position within the HSE function and thus requires the role to act independently and work alongside the Head of QHSE and Quality Supervisor. The HSE Supervisor will report any concerns or non-compliances to the Head of QHSE and work with offshore / onshore management teams to help resolve any concerns or issues.

Assist and support Head of QHSE with all Health, Safety and Environment matters relating to the implementation and monitoring of the Geoquip Marine IMS management systems, and where requested, development or collation of information for Geoquip Marine presentations.

HSE Supervisor (UK Based) will be expected to visit Bristol Office to ensure close working relationships with Project / Rig Managers for 1 or 2 days Bi Weekly and visit their assigned vessels at each port call to continually communicate expectations, identified trends, and establish a close working relationship with the team as well as attending Client / Geoquip / Project kick off meetings for their respective assets. In addition, the HSE Supervisor will be expected board and work onsite with at least one of his / her assigned vessel quarterly. This is to be arranged with Project Manager and Head of QHSE advised when arrangements have been mad

**Functions and duties**

The duties assigned to the HSE Supervisor will be varied; these will include but not be limited to the following:

- Supervise, Support, and guide the Offshore Leadership Team (Under his / her assigned Vessel (S)) driving HSE excellence.
- Work with the Offshore HSE Representative to ensure best practice by identifying trends, HSE improvement opportunities and finding solutions / closing outstanding QHSE Actions with Offshore Team
- Sharing of Trend information and regular communication with other HSE Supervisors to ensure lesson sharing, ideas are effective and uniform throughout the fleet.
- Review any HSE related reports as they are received in detail and identify any focus / trending areas working with HSE Rep to provide effective solutions and improvements.
- File HSE daily, weekly, monthly reports as listed on project QHSE reporting matrix in the central SharePoint database (under his / her assigned Vessel.
- Sourcing Industry alerts and sending to highlight awareness sharing with other HSE Supervisors.
- Monitor, promoting HSE Excellence working with Offshore Team (under his / her assigned Vessel) by change behaviours, mindset, culture and achieve HSE Excellence
- Establish and maintain regular communications with HSE Representatives to understand any issues/concerns and receive any positive feedback
- Provide assistance to MoC from a HSE prospective (under his / her assigned Vessel)
- Take Part and lead, when necessary, in the Incident Investigate process ensuring a quality investigation has taken place before reports are submitted to PM for issue to Management. If requested be prepared to join the vessel for Investigation requirements.
- Conduct safety training and HSE Coaching offshore where required
- Assist Head of QHSE to facilitate, monitor and ensure the day-to-day implementation of Geoquip Marine IMS policies/processes/procedures relevant to legal and compliance management.
