**Who we are looking for**
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of vulnerable individuals and families? The Bond Board is seeking a dedicated Housing Officer to join our team. In this role you will provide day to day housing management, ensuring the smooth operation of properties under our management and contributing to the collection of rent and property repairs. You will offer crucial support to tenants, helping to maintain their tenancies and prevent repeat homelessness.
**About You**
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Experience in housing management or a related field
- Ability to work flexibly and empathetically with vulnerable tenants
- Proficiency in using ICT and management software.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Conduct property viewings and complete sign-ups with new tenant
- Perform property inspections and manage necessary repairs
- Develop and implement procedures to support project growth
- Provide empathetic approach to managing properties with vulnerable tenants to resolve housing related issue
- Co-ordinate contractors for repairs and emergencies
- Addressing issues of rent arrears and rent collection to prevent tenancy failures.
