**Salary**:_£11.00 -£12.00ph (DoE)_

We are looking to recruit a Night Residential Support Worker to join our fantastic team working in Blackpool.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who shares our same passion and commitment to ensure the best possible outcomes of children and young people we care for.

**Job Summary**

Through a caring and nurturing approach, you will build positive relationships and support our children and young people by providing a high quality of person-centred care which meets their individual needs whilst actively safeguarding and promoting their welfare.

You will support the Registered Manager and the team to ensure that the home promotes and maintains a healthy and safe environment for all young people and staff in accordance with our company values, policies and procedures, and Ofsted regulations.

**Key Requirements**:

- An understanding of the needs and challenges of children and young people in residential care
- A desire to work with young people who may display challenging behaviour
- Effective communication skills and ability to communicate and engage well with children and young people
- Ability to demonstrate excellent writing, recording, and reporting skills in line with company and statutory requirements
- Ability to form professional and positive relationships with children and young people, colleagues, and other professionals and agencies
- To provide a high level of consistent care and support to the young people in our care
- Maintain high standards of hygiene within the home and complete housekeeping tasks
- Availability to undertake shift work on a rolling rota system including weekends
- Ability to work as part of a team

**Requirements**:
**Experience**:

- Residential Childcare: 1 year _(preferred)_
- Night shift worker experience _(preferred)_

**Licence/Certification**:

- NVQ L3 Residential Childcare/Social Care _(Desirable)_
- Full, clean UK Driving Licence _(Essential)_
