Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work un-supervised using your own initiative are essential for this role. You will need to be able to develop excellent working relationships with colleagues at all levels and communicate well with members of the public. A pro-active, flexible and professional approach to your work will be vital.

**SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE**
- Ability to demonstrate strong customer focus.
- Ability to communicate with staff in a pleasant and effective manner.
- Ability to identify different types of medical documentation/records.
- Ability to manage all aspects of administration in accordance with the requirements of the experts.
- Must have an understanding of medical terminology.
- Ability to review and interpret medical documentation efficiently, to provide suitable medical records.
- Knowledge of speech recognition software.
- Ability to be self-motivating, innovative and work without supervision.
- Highly organised and attention to detail.
- Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise workload.
- Good computer skills including Word, Excel, MS Outlook, PowerPoint necessary.
- Good typing and keyboard skills.
- A good level of English language and grammar.
- High level of integrity as you will have access to confidential records.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBIITIES**
- Review incoming instructions and learn all relevant details needed to complete the task in hand.
- Understanding of when medical records are lacking around the time of the incident and pre-post-accident.
- Prepare a medical review of records (chronology of events) based on the documents provided and the Letter of Instruction showcasing the incident (Clin Neg/PI).
- Co-ordinating with Senior Team Leader (**“STL”**) to ensure a ‘streamlined’ workflow where possible.
- Take responsibility for the content of the records provided to the expert concerned to ensure correct detail is captured.
- Working and building knowledge on PDF documents and editing.
- Liaise with Senior Team Leader and COM on specific cases to ensure queries are answered appropriately.
- Proofreading of completed review of records in the correct format.
- Maintain records and liaise with STL to provide final documents.
- Maintaining records on SharePoint and adhering to confidentiality.
- Adhering to legislation (GDPR).
- Monitor and review processes/procedures to ensure the efficient running of the role.
- Any other duties commensurate with the role.
