The role:
Electrical Assembly Operative

Are you an Electrical Assembly Operative that has worked in Manufacturing and looking for a new challenge?

A fantastic opportunity has become available for an Assembly Operative to join a well-known Manufacturing business in Dronfield

Working Hours: Monday - Friday 7am-3pm
Competitive salary

Key Responsibilities:

- Correct Assembly & Processing of products within agreed timescales.
- Electrical - Assembly of PCBs, Electro-mechanical sub-assemblies, Optical & Lens assemblies, final instrumentation using equipment such as Soldering Irons, Light electrical tool, and a range of hand tools. Further path to Optical alignment, instrument test and calibration along with final product stages including sign off and packaging.
- Ensure your working area is tidy and conforms to 5S/Housekeeping Standards.
- Provide status of Work Orders and report issues when they arise.
- Support CI Projects to improve product flow through the business.
- Flexibility to work between different functions and adapt when required.
- Initiative: Taking ownership of own work, doing what is needed without being asked, following through.
- Dexterity: Ability to perform manual tasks with precision & skill.
- Communication: Ability to effectively communicate and demonstrate understanding of what has been communicated.

Skills & Experience:

- Able to use Microsoft Office Programs/O365
- Assembly Experience advantageous
- A high level of commitment, initiative, and self-motivation are essential in this role.
- Good communication skills to liaise effectively both within the immediate team and beyond to other Departments.
