Hazel Tree Education are working with an alternative provision based in Billinge.

The school offers specialist support for learners with SEMH and ASD, aged 7-19. The school prides itself on providing a holistic approach to education, by preparing pupils for of all the opportunities, responsibilities, and experiences of adult life.

Hazel Tree is seeking a full time behaviour mentor to work closely with small groups and individual learners with challenging behaviour.

learners are aged 7-19 and all have an EHCP. Supporting them during lessons, and therapy sessions it will be vital that you have the qualities to build a professional and trusting relationship with vulnerable young people.

Must have
- Ability to deal with challenging situations
- Good literacy and numeracy skills with knowledge across the curriculum.
- Excellent communication skills
- Resilience
- Behaviour management experience
- DBS on the update service or be willing to complete a new one.
- Right to work in the UK
