Masstemps are recruiting on behalf of one of our busy clients in the wolverhampton area. We're looking for someone with Robot welding experience who can also fabricate.
Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Robot Welder to join our team. As a Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures through the use of various welding techniques. This is a hands-on position that requires strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with hand and power tools.
**Responsibilities**:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the appropriate welding process
- Fabricate and assemble metal components according to specifications
- Inspect welds for accuracy and quality
- Use hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and weld metal pieces
- Ensure all safety guidelines and procedures are followed
**Skills**:To excel in this role, you should have the following skills:
- Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in welding
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate assembly and fabrication of metal structures
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues that may arise during the welding process
