Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our dynamic team on a part-time basis. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with our students with SEND to provide individualized support, including personal care, and promote their academic, personal, and social development.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work one-on-one or in small groups with students with SEND, providing tailored support to meet their specific needs and learning goals.
- Assist students in accessing the curriculum, providing guidance and resources to enhance their learning experience.
- Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans for students.
- Provide personal care assistance to students, including supporting with toileting, dressing, and personal hygiene tasks, as required.
- Foster an inclusive and nurturing learning environment, promoting independence and confidence among students.
- Support students in developing life skills and promoting their overall well-being.
- Assist with classroom management, ensuring a safe and supportive learning atmosphere.
- Monitor and record student progress, communicating effectively with colleagues and parents/guardians.
- Participate in relevant training and professional development activities to enhance your knowledge and skills in supporting students with SEND.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working with students with SEND, preferably in a post-16 education setting.
- A genuine passion for supporting the development and well-being of students with disabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents/guardians.
- Empathy, patience, and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs.
- Knowledge of different learning support techniques and resources for students with SEND.
