**About the Role**
This is an exciting opportunity for a Finance Assistant to join the Facilities Management Team. Reporting to the Finance Information Officer, you will deliver a wide range of finance functions including purchase order/sales invoice processing, financial reporting, Month End/Year End processes, maintaining and improving financial information and assisting with the development of the overall FM finance system.
As part of this changing and dynamic service area you will work independently and as part of an experienced team to deliver the FM finance function whilst providing customer service excellence and continuously improving the service provided to the FM Department and University.
**About You**
As Finance Assistant, you will:
- Have a sound knowledge and understanding of finance planning principles and processes and be able to develop these in your role, with the support of your Line Manager and FM Finance colleagues.
- Have great interpersonal skills, a sense of ownership, a strong customer focus, and a drive for continuous improvement.
- Be self-motivated, with a drive for personal learning and development, actively participating in our Performance Review and Development scheme and identifying opportunities for enhancing your own skills and competencies.
