Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Back of House Team Member to join our team. As a Back of House Team Member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen. Your primary responsibilities will include food preparation, cooking, and maintaining food safety standards. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for high quality food in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

**Duties**:

- Prepare ingredients for cooking and organising stock
- Assist with cooking and meal preparation under the guidance of the kitchen staff
- Follow spec sheets for correct portion sizes and to ensure consistency in food quality
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
- Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and regulations
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation if required

**Experience**:

- Previous experience working in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential
- Knowledge of basic culinary techniques and food preparation methods
- Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations is desirable
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail is vital
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £10.00-£12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 30 per week
