- OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB
- Responsible for partnering with cross-functional teams to identify training needs and develop training plans for
- teams and individuals. This position designs, develops, manages, and conducts all manufacturing training
- programs from new starter inductions to CPD for all other roles at Lear Redditch. This position requires a strong
- knowledge of various training methods, including on-the-job coaching, mentor-ship programs, and e-learning.
- MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES KEY SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS- Ensuring Safe Working Practices are followed,

Training academy timetable is updated and
- followed.- Induct new employees (temporary and permanent)

through a standard induction process and ensure
- the trace ability of each individual through this
- process.- Ensure that off-line training is delivered for

fundamental skills for both new and current
- employees undertaking training on new processes.- Assist in the Cross-Training program by

developing a cross-training matrix and generating
- cross-training status reports.- Design, develop, and map training plans and

programs (outsourced and in-house).- Develop and deliver training material for Lean Six

Sigma and problem solving tools- Provide internal trainer sessions/upskilling for staff.
- Report status of training KPIs with actions in place

where status is not at target.- Assist in creating and updating Standard Work

- effectively utilize all personnel resources.

- Must be able to provide focus and leadership for all team members. Ensure Product Coach team are aware of daily requirements.* Carry out audits in various categories as
- requested.* Ensure the KPI's values Safety, QualityPerformance, Cost are at the forefront of all learnings and that the expectations of the product are clearly understood.- Support for DQR and DSR items when required.
- Carry out and support kaizen projects and present

to seniors- Be approachable and have a calm and consistent

demeanour when under pressure.- Perform other duties as requested
