We are responsible for the entire range of children’s education, health and social care services in all three boroughs. The Digital Support Assistant will be responsible for providing project support and administrative duties, working in a team under the supervision of the Digital Transformation Manager and at times the Digital Support Officers by liaising with service leads within the directorate to ensure that work is completed on time and to the required standard.
**This is a part time (**18 hours a week). 12 month fixed term position. Salary advertised will be calculated pro-rata.**
About the role
The post holder will be expected to undertake on a regular basis a range of support activities to enable the service to perform effectively:
- Assist with the development of solutions in digital interventions that will aid continuous improvement for the wider service.
- Engage in the testing of new digital developments, reporting issues, retesting any fixes in preparation for launching any new technology to the workforce
- Work with stakeholders to book scoping calls and assist with support and advice on post ‘go live’ user adoption.
- Manage the digital mailbox, responding to inquiries and providing a positive customer experience.
About you
The post holder will have a good understanding of technology and business administration that will enable them to undertake a range of functions
- Experience of working in a business support capacity providing a wide range of administrative support
- Strong organisational abilities including: time management, creative-thinking, problem-solving and multitasking.
- Confident using a range of digital hardware or software and hold a high degree of digital literacy to support your work effectively i.e. Microsoft or Google software.
Good communication and interpersonal skills that are open, honest, persuasive and pragmatic, including excellent negotiation and influencing skills.
