An experienced and knowledgeable Quality Director, is looking for you to join his team to continue to drive through high quality standards within the business.

He is new to the company but not new to the industry. He has lots of ideas but would like to listen to yours too so that between you, the experienced Quality Manager and the wider quality team, we can work on getting it 'right first time' and not just tickthat box

If you have an understanding of PPAPs, DMRs, RMAs, FMEAs ,Lean Tools or API standards this would be the icing on the cake

You are someone who is inquisitive and likes to be involved in everything from assurance to process, from systems to inspection. The environment is reactive & very fast paced and I can honestly say, that no 2 days are the same here.

**Working alongside the Quality Manager and under the Quality Director's leadership, this is a snapshot of what your day looks like**:

- Capturing non-conformance, leading investigations to identify root cause and implement corrective actions
- Lead and support in Continuous Improvement activities and promote a positive quality culture
- To conduct internal and supplier quality audits and support the QM in Quality system tasks relating to ISO 9001 and API Q1
- To support in the delivery of quality training to other departments within the business and act as a quality mentor to the production team
- To collate PPAP documentation and generate customer PPAP packs including the creation of control plans / equivalent and FMEA's when required
- To review, analyse and highlight quality trends to management based on factual data

In addition, a new quality standardisation project is underway on-site and at the sister company down the road, this is a team project, looking at where improvements can be made and adopting best practice at both sites

This is very much a hands-on role, getting involved with multiple departments to investigate and reduce any quality problems.

**Working hours: 8am - 4:30pm however if you need some flexibility and want to start earlier then this would be considered.**

The holiday allowance is above the norm too, 26 days plus all of your bank holidays.
