**Payroll Specialist**

We currently have a vacancy for an experience Payroll Specialist to provide full payroll & benefits support to the UK business, supporting the shared service center function. The role will be to execute actions in respect of payroll and benefits and will act as the HR and Payroll software system administrator.

**Main Duties**
- To ensure the accurate processing of all payrolls, with systems being maintained with 100% accuracy
- To liaise with all third parties including the DWP and HMRC etc, ensuring that all regulatory requirements are met
- To maintain information held in the HR / Payroll systems
- To act as the system administrator for the HR & Payroll system, ensuring that systems are fit for use and evolve in conjunction with system capabilities and changing business requirements.
- To manage the business’ system reporting requirements
- To act in a manner which continually improves the department
- Ability to support the team and lead with various HR / Payroll projects
- Full end to end payroll delivery including P60’s and P11D’s
- Full support including certification and re-enrollment processes on various group and auto-enrollment pension schemes
- Advise as appropriate with regards to UK PAYE requirements for International employees
- Process and advise on off payroll workers in accordance with IR 35 regulations
- Ability to understand and generate Gender Pay Gap reporting figures
- Ability to analyze data

**Key Competencies & Skills**:

- Must be able to demonstrate a high degree of accuracy
- Must be able to demonstrate in depth legislative knowledge and knowledge of relevant employment law
- Must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication
- Must be proactive and innovative in approach
- Must be able to analyze and appropriately present data
- Must be able to work in an organized manner
- Experience with iTrent is desirable
- Experience is supporting a business with a system implementation would be advantageous
- Experience in working in a shared service environment would be advantageous

**Experience & Qualifications**
- Experience of working with HR / Payroll systems is essential
- Experience of working with Excel is essential
- Knowledge of HMRC / Payroll legislative requirements is essential
- Experience of working within a fast paced environment is required
