**The Company Overview**:
Butler rose are partnered with an innovative, well-established and multi award law firm based in Manchester City Centre. They are now looking to recruit a Payroll Specialist to work alongside their payroll providers to ensure the timely and accurate completion of the monthly payrolls and ensuring that processes are adhered to. A brilliant opportunity to join a busy yet collaborative environment.

My client now has an immediate requirement for a Payroll Specialist and as a result, you will need to be either immediately available or available at short notice. This is a permanent position working 37.5 hours with a hybrid work model.

**Your new role as a Payroll Specialist**:
Your Main duties will include:
Process starters, leavers, absences, monthly changes for over 2000 staff members

Calculate payments such as overtime, statutory payments such as SSP, SMP, Pensions and other adjustments

Calculate and process maternity/paternity/adoption pay

Support the process where needed

**The Experience & Qualifications Required**:
Payroll professionals with extensive experience of processing payrolls in a medium to large organisation

Good communication skills

Full understanding of PAYE, National Insurance, Taxable Benefits, Auto Enrolment & HMRC reconciliations

A passion for delivery of a high-quality customer service and the ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment is essential

Proficiency in Excel
- Vlookups and pivot tables is required

Thorough knowledge of international payrolls would be advantageous but is not essential.
