Are you looking for an exciting role next summer that is both challenging and fun? If so, keep reading. The International Summer School for Teens is currently recruiting enthusiastic people to be responsible for supervising a group of international teenagers during summer 2023. Applicants should be hard-working, organised, reliable and enjoy working with young people.

Your key remit will be to build a friendly rapport with our students, many of whom speak English as their second language. Your job is to ensure their safety and that they are experiencing the best of Scotland at all times. Experience working with teenagers is definitely advantageous though not essential, however, a genuine passion for working with young people is essential. You will be supported by an energetic team and ultimately your key remit will be a good role model to the students. In addition to student supervision, you will help plan and run a range of sporting, creative and cultural activities for the students.

Applicants with previous experience in a similar role in a summer camp/school or holiday camp or those with experience working in sports or the arts are of particular interest to us. However, applicants who love having fun, don't mind performing in front of people and are naturally energetic will be a perfect match for us as well.

All staff must participate in a mandatory training session which will be scheduled prior to the start of summer school. Please be advised that as part of our interview process, we will request contact details for 2 references. All gaps in CVs must be explained satisfactorily. Applicants will also have to provide ID and hold - or be willing to obtain - a current PVG / Enhanced Disclosure / CRB. Salary is pro rata and dependent on experience and location.
