Admissions Assistant

We are looking for an Admissions Assistant to help drive, track and monitor enquiries to our early learning and school age childcare settings.
This is a full time position (35 hours / week) for a period of 12 months with a salary of £10.90 / hour.

This role is funded by the Rank Foundation as part of their Time to Shine (T2S) Leadership Programme.
The T2S programme is experiential and focuses on leadership skills, encouraging personal and professional development through attendance at conferences, action learning and programme mentoring.
T2S leaders work on all kinds of projects for example fund raising, managing an event, developing social media presence to help build capacity within the organisation and to develop their own leadership potential.

In this position, you will work with our Leadership Team and the wider organisation to gather and deliver evidence-based information and recommendations and help to develop relevant processes.

**Main Job Purpose**
To drive enquiries, gather, analyse, and research the admissions process and occupancy data within FCSS services and develop processes to ensure that our systems are robust and effective and are true to our mission, vision and values.
**Specific Responsibilities**:
- Track and manage all childcare enquiries and develop an effective organisation wide platform to record and analyse emerging trends.
- Collect and interpret data, information, and case studies to inform decision making and business objectives regarding admissions and occupancy in all of our services.
- Analyse data and produce reports to better understand the demand and delivery of differing models of flexibility.
- Present and communicate findings in appropriate and accessible formats for a wide range of stakeholders.
- Support the leadership team in monitoring progress towards agreed objectives.
- Work collaboratively across teams to provide assistive support around admissions and occupancy.
- Follow best practice for established standards of quality assurance and research/business ethics.
- Support work to connect with and engage a wide range of stakeholders.
- Provide general administration support.
**Requirements**:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adapt approach to different audiences.
- High attention to detail and an added value attitude.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multi-task.
- Ability to work flexibly, prioritise effectively and meet deadlines
- A high level of integrity to deal with sensitive and confidential matters.
- A good level of computer literacy, including MS Office.
- A proven team member, with experience of working with colleagues on a practical level.
- A good understanding of contemporary technology and social media.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a creative approach.**Training and Support and Supervision**:
You will receive induction training and frequent support in the first three months. Thereafter you will receive monthly individual support and supervision and annual appraisals. Regular team meetings are held, and all members have access to internal and external training.
**Line Management**:This role reports to our Head of Marketing and Communication, we will however ensure you have the opportunity to work with all functional leads in the organisation to develop your knowledge of our work and understand the critical role and dependencies across all areas of the organisation.
