**Hours**: 37.5 hours per week

International Medical Group provides medical assistance and claims handling services to travel insurance policy holders and corporate clients across the globe. Our UK-based operations centre provides round the clock medical assistance to policy holders who suffer injury or illness while travelling overseas, and our dedicated claims team handles a huge range of travel claims from lost luggage to pet care.

This role is responsible for overseeing daily policy administration for the ALC / IMG Europe product lines. They are a contact for policy related issues for insured members, various sales partners and brokers, as well as ALC / IMG Europe’s internal customer service and sales departments.

They will be at the forefront of ensuring any policy fulfilment is issued by the requested method (electronic / post etc.) making sure any paperwork is accurate and will arrange postage / couriers as required.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- To process, from request to fulfilment, any amendments to existing policies under the ALC / IMG Europe schemes
- To ensure that the ALC / IMG Europe Admin mailboxes are actioned within 2 business days to ensure outstanding customer service to all members
- Documenting any policy amendments in IMG’s operating and imaging systems.
- Assists with group enrollments - with training
- To work alongside the ALC / IMG Europe Claims Administrators to aid in the processing of administration tasks for claims handling, when workload and time permits.
- To work alongside other ALC / IMG Policy Administrator teams to aid on the processing of any changes to existing policies
- Other various policy and administrative related tasks or projects as assigned by the line manager

What We're Looking for:

- Familiarity with general office procedures in addition to being computer literate with good keyboard skills. A sound working knowledge of the Microsoft Office 365 suite is a requirement.
- A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail is imperative.
- Ability to work under pressure, independently with mínimal supervision and as part of a close-knit team.
- A diplomatic, open style and approach and the ability to demonstrate customer led thinking with strong customer service skills.
- Good organisational skills, the ability to prioritise the workload and use your own initiative.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, delivered in a clear and professional manner.
- Proactive approach to work and analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to identify when it is appropriate to escalate a problem.
- Adaptability and flexibility to suit the needs of the team, department, and company as a whole.
- Previous customer service experience and/or experience of the private medical insurance industry and policy administration or underwriting would be an advantage.
