**Job Summary**:
Negotiate with suppliers regarding pricing ensuring that RMEC always receive value for money when it comes to purchasing. Expedite current outstanding purchase orders.
Ensure that all assets and Items are booked into and out of Navision properly.

**Relationships**

Reporting to: Compliance Manager

Maintain close relationships with: Operations TeaM/Finance Team

**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Responsible for placing Purchase orders and sourcing equipment.
- Managing Purchase orders to ensure a timely delivery
- Expediting outstanding purchase orders
- Assist with various logistics tasks to ensure goods are delivered and collected on-time.
- Maintaining RMEC stock records e.g. ordering, receiving and issuing parts required for client jobs or RMEC stock
- Working closely with Vendors to source suitable equipment and prices
- Provide holiday cover for Stores person
- Booking in equipment and correctly labelling it with job identifier
- Setting up new suppliers following company procedures
- Cataloguing of all key parts and maintaining control of all parts
- Assisting Finance during annual audits - internal and external
- Identifying opportunities and implement actions continually to reduce wasted time, money and resources from assigned tasks

**Previous Experience / Competencies**:

- Previous purchasing / stores experience
- Computer-literate
- Mechanical mind-set

**Competencies to be kept current**:
