Buyer and Account Executive

Salary - GBP33,00 - GBP38,000 DOE

Our client is one of the UKs leading ready-meal manufacturers, their family business has been providing quality food for generations, building a legacy of trust and satisfaction.

An opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and versatile individual to join their team in the role of Buyer and Account Executive. This position requires a proactive individual who can seamlessly manage multiple responsibilities to ensure the smooth operation of their business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement:

    • Source and purchase products or services required for their operations.
    • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to ensure favorable terms.
    • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment as needed.
    • Evaluate supplier performance and identify opportunities for cost savings.
  • Account Management:

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for client accounts.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular communication and meetings.
    • Understand client needs and proactively identify opportunities to enhance their experience.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and retention.

Requirements:

  • Experience in procurement and/or account management roles.
  • Good negotiation and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
