As the **Finance Business Partner - Technology**, you will have full ownership of accounting and planning for Technology costs and will have a key role to play in both the Technology and Finance teams.

Your responsibilities will include overseeing end-to-end finance operations including profit and loss, balance sheet reconciliations and cash flow projections whilst looking to make improvements to procedures and controls.

You will develop strong relationships with the Technology senior team and support them to understand cost drivers for their part of the business.

**Key **Duties/**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee Technology cost function including support to functional business partners
- Provide clear and concise reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, Technology senior leadership team and Finance senior team
- Regularly meet with the senior leadership team to gain an understanding of expected costs and highlight underlying issues as they arise and challenge costs where necessary
- Responsibility for annual budgeting and monthly reforecasts across the group for Technology spend
- Ownership of TBM (Technology Business Management) model to enable the business to appraise and benchmark Technology spend across the group
- Oversee the Coupa system for PO management, including PO approval in line with budgets and reforecasts
- Involvement with Technology projects to quantify benefits, manage spend and appraise
- Support on cost reviews with budget holders
- Ownership of the monthly management accounts process for the Technology cost area ensuring that group finance deadlines are complied with
- Monthly payroll analysis for Technology
- Input into the monthly balance sheet reconciliation process
- Implement controls in line with the Group's Financial controls programme
- Develop reporting on a global view for Technology to enable benchmarking across the Group
- Ad hoc project work as required

**Skills/Experience/Knowledge needed**:

- CIMA / ACCA / ACA Qualified Accountant
- Experience of management accounting essential
- Experience of Retail and Technology advantageous
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal required
- Very strong analytical skills required in order to investigate, understand, and explain variances and overall department performance
- Ability to work under own initiative
- Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines
- Advanced Excel skills, Oracle, TM1 experience not essential but an advantage
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Positive, flexible, enthusiastic, and driven
