**The Opportunity**:
The School of GeoSciences is one of the largest Schools in the University, with a wide range of courses and programmes for undergraduate and postgraduate students. As an experienced and well-organised team-player, you will provide effective administrative support within the School of GeoSciences Teaching Organisation, specifically for one of our three undergraduate disciplines.

The School of GeoSciences has two Teaching Offices across two sites and three buildings supporting undergraduate and postgraduate teaching for over 1200 students and 135 academic staff. With relevant administrative experience, you will be able to demonstrate excellent organisation and administrative skills, and ability to exercise judgement and initiative to plan and deliver work within an annual cycle. You should be proactive as well as be able to work as part of a team.

**Your skills and attributes for success**:

- School education to Standard Grade or equivalent plus relevant work experience providing secretarial or administrative support
- Proven excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Evidence of resourcefulness and ability to use initiative and work without direct supervision
- Proven ability to plan and prioritise own workload and work as part of a team
- Competent with Microsoft Office and good IT skills
