**Role and Responsibilities**:

- To work alongside practitioners, developing knowledge of childcare.
- To work as part of the team
- Liaise with manager/mentor/college tutor to complete assignments and training needs.
- Always adhere to The Nurserys policies and procedures.
- To be aware of the high profile of the nursery and to always uphold its standards, both within work hours and outside.
- Supervising children play time.
- Engaging children in learning and play activities.
- Safeguarding is vital and key point within this role.
- Making the nursery environment as fun and upbeat as possible to give children fantastic experience in setting.
- Keeping and updating records.
- Working with team members.
- Maintaining a high standard of operation.
- Attending staff meetings.
- This is an apprenticeship post working 40 hours per week Monday
- Friday between the hours of 7:30am
- 6pm

As one of our learners, you’ll benefit from coaching, help and guidance from our dedicated team whose job it is to ensure your success. Successful completion of this apprenticeship gives you an accredited Apprenticeship qualification.

**Required Qualifications**:
Maths and English, GCSE Grade 4-9 or equivalent
