Join Our Team as an Early Years Apprentice

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Apprentice to join our team at Bright Horizons Elm Grove Day Nursery and Preschool. As a key member of our nursery team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to our children, aged from birth to five years old.

About the Role

As an Early Years Apprentice, you will be responsible for working alongside our experienced team to create a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes learning and development. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing daily care and education to our children, including planning and implementing activities that meet their individual needs and interests
  • Building strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a smooth and effective working environment
  • Participating in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
  • Contribute to the overall success of the nursery by maintaining a clean and safe environment, adhering to health and safety procedures, and supporting the team in achieving our goals

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A passion for working with young children and a commitment to providing high-quality care and education
  • Maths and English qualification GCSE Grade C / Level 4 or above, or Functional Skills Level 2 (or willingness to complete Functional Skills alongside the apprenticeship)
  • Previous experience working with children (although not essential)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
