**Financial Accountant - Construction**

Established for over 50 years and still growing year on year, my client in the construction sector is looking for an experienced, qualified Financial accountant to join their small but busy team.You will have previous experience in the construction sectorand looking for the next step in your career into a varied, all encompassing role where you will have the opportunity to take on more responsibilities over time.Reporting to the Group Management Accountant, you will have a business critical role as Financialaccountant covering the following responsibilities:

- Undertake month end activities including balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, provision and prepayments
- Deliver high quality reporting
- Assist with intercompany processing
- Liaise with auditors for annual and periodic statutory audits
- Prepare all indirect and direct tax compliance
- Completion of monthly cost reports
- Assist in preparation of annual statutory accounts
- Assist in preparation of annual budget and rolling forecasts

To be successful in this Financial accountant role you must be ACA or ACCA qualified and have previous experience in the construction sector and reporting under UK GAAP.

This role is fully office based and interviews will be held on site.
