**Duties and Responsibilities**:
The role is to lead, inspire and motivate a team of managers and Partners on a daily basis to deliver the Retail Operating Plan. The ability to embed and develop an effective and positive culture whilst achieving commercial targets and delivering exemplary customer service standards is the key focus of this position.

Leading change initiatives is a key feature of the role; leading Managers and Partners to embed new processes and ways of working.

**Job Requirements**:
The role holder will need to work collaboratively with Heads of Branch, Branch Managers and Head Office colleagues to identify areas for improvement and influence stakeholders to support the development of your retail operation.

The ability to embed and develop an effective and positive culture whilst achieving commercial targets and delivering exemplary customer service standards is the key focus of this position. Externally, you are a John Lewis Brand ambassador - this requires you to develop and grow the reputation of the Partnership in the community in which you operate.

The Head of Branch has overall accountability for the operation, including legalities and the health and safety of all Partners, customers and visitors.

**Desirable experience skills and qualifications**:

- Managing and achieving sales budgets.
- Profit and loss account management.
- Retail management experience, managing a team providing front line customer service.
- Stakeholder management.
- Project implementation.
