**The Role**:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Support Worker to undertake care duties for patients in support of and delegated by the Registered Nurse, within a hospital or community setting. The post-holder will require to work without direct supervision on a regular basis, referring to the registered nurse as required.

**What we'll need you to bring**:
- SVQ III in healthcare, or working towards, or equivalent experience working within a caring environment/role
- Ability to work with people and as part of a multidisciplinary/agency team
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to carry out assigned patient care tasks effectively within a busy environment
- Ability to work unsupervised
- To actively participate in the Personal Development Plan process to fulfil the requirements of continuing professional development
- Working knowledge of basic information technology
- Full valid UK driving license with access to vehicle is essential
- Be available to work flexible hours including rostered weekend shifts
**It would be great if you also have**:
- Up to date with NHS mandatory training/evidence of core training from external organisations
- Experience working with people who have mental health/health care needs
- Evidence of experience in Dementia care with associated knowledge

**Location and Working Pattern**:
This role will be based in Adult CMHT within Hunter Health Centre
The working pattern for this role is: Mon-Fri (8:30 - 18:30) plus Sat/Sun/Public Holiday (08:30-16:30) Working 5 out of 7 days.
